The NFTS has launched its first Summer School offering students, aged 18 and over, the incredible chance to spend two-weeks at the NFTS– named ‘Number 1 International Film School in the World’ by The Hollywood Reporter. The course runs from the 8th August– 21st August 2015.
This intensive course has been designed for less experienced students who want a two-week taste of training as a director, producer, cinematographer, editor, production designer or sound recordist.
Summer School students will be able to enjoy access to the School’s outstanding studio facilities, expert tuition, masterclasses with big name film makers and the chance to get hands on experience working with industry professionals and actors on a short film.
Students will be given a general overview of each craft specialism then take on a specific role throughout the course in order to gain a more detailed understanding of a particular craft specialism.
Working together in groups under the guidance of tutors, students will develop a script, plan, shoot and edit a short film to be screened on the final day of the course - at your very own premiere!
To Apply, fill in and return the Summer School application form HERE and return it to registry@nfts.co.uk by 9th March 2015.
