The NFTS TV Entertainment 5 O'CLOCK SHOW has been transmitting live to the School and streaming to the student channel Showvio and YouTube.

The multi-camera studio magazine programme is directed and produced by 1st year TV EntertainmentMA students with Camera Operators, Vision Mixers, Lighting and Sound students on the NFTS Broadcast Production.

It includes interviews with celebrity guests, fashion experts, stand-up comedians, live music and other entertainers such as fire dancer Simon Richert.

The show was hosted, this year, by talented up-coming presenters Ben Hunte and Kirsty Pannett. Other guests featured this week included actor Franz Drameh (Attack the Block & Edge of Tomorrow); writer David Valera who created the APP to accompany the BBC One hit TV Series Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch; the fearless adventurer Ed Farrelly and revolutionary designer Kirsi Enkovara, Textile artist Nadia-Anne Ricketts, stand-up comedian Callum Oakley.

Live music performances were delivered by bands Chasing Grace and New Desert Blues and the Model Aeroplanes playing their brand new single Club-Low plus a unique demonstration from a traditional Scottish pipe band drummer, Craig Budge.

With the Christmas season coming up , the show took a look at the top 4 seasonal jumpers available for under £15 and asked the public what their best or worst present was that they have received for Christmas.

There was also a live review and demonstration of the latest Virtual Reality hardware storming the future, in the form of the Oculus Rift.
