There are now only limited places available to join us in January 2016. So if you’d like to study at the NFTS– the number 1 international film and television school – then take a look at these courses that are still accepting applications:
 
  • Broadcast Production diploma delivered in partnership with Sky TV - this course allows you to specialise in either vision mixing, sound mixing or lighting & camera operating for  television. It includes a 6-week work placement at the state-of-the-art Sky Studios, mentoring & a guaranteed paid job contract for one graduate.  (Deadline November 19th)
  • Creative Business for Entrepreneurs and Executives diploma - this unique 10-month cross-media business course gives you the tools to launch your own company or new venture. It is taught by over 100 major industry players and delivered in partnership with the UK’s leading media investment firm Ingenious, and supported by leading media law firm Lee & Thompson and accountancy practice Saffery Champness. (Deadline November 19th)
  • Digital Effects MA– this two-year Masters course gives you the skills to work in Visual Effects and Special Effects for films, television and video games. Its graduates go on to work at the major FX houses including MPC, Framestore, Bait and Double Negative and have credits on all of the box office hit films. (Deadline November 19th).
  • Factual Development and Production diploma– this part-time course is delivered in partnership with Discovery Networks International and is taught at their London HQ where you’ll learn to develop TV formats by leading producers and commissioners responsible for some of the UK’s most iconic UK factual shows such as Educating The East End, Salvage Hunters and Bear Grylls. You’ll have the chance to pitch your own factual TV programme to Discovery and win £5,000 development funding. Discovery are also offering 4x £5,000 scholarships to study on this course. (Deadline November 19th)
  • Film Studies Programming and Curation MA - this unique course is delivered in partnership with the British Film Institute (BFI) and includes a professional work placement and attendance at the BFI London Film Festival. Led by former LFF Director Sandra Hebron, this course will prepare you to build a successful career in film exhibition, criticism, archives, preservation or restoration. (Deadline November 19th)
  • Producing Digital Content and Formats diploma– this course is delivered in partnership with Sky TV and trains you to build and engage online audiences and produce online content for film and television. It is taught by industry tutors responsible for some of the UK’s most cutting edge multi-platform projects including Million Pound Drop, The Voice and X Factor. You’ll get to produce content for your own project and learn to pitch to the industry. Students on this course have just produced an interactive video Laid Bare for the BBC Taster site. (Deadline November 19th)

 

  • We are also running a NEW visual effects certificate course in Performance Capture that will train you to work in VFX teams on films, games and television productions that use this cutting edge technology to bring digital characters to life. This 10-week course is delivered in partnership with The Imaginarium - the film studio co-founded by the actor/director Andy Serkis who is best known for the characters Gollum (Lord of the Rings) and Caeser (Rise of the Planet of the Apes). All students  get a work placement at The Imaginarium and there's a guaranteed job contract for one graduate. (Deadline January 11th, 2016)
