The Galway Film Fleadh is one of Ireland’s leading film festivals and celebrates the best in Irish and international short and feature films.

The film was also recently nominated for three Royal Television Society Awards, was previously nominated for a Student Academy Award and was screened as part of the BAFTA new talent showcase 2014.

The story follows Aaron, a young man isolated on a farm and fighting against his family as he struggles to be heard as he watches his mother willingly die. Rising star Barry Keoghan stars in the lead alongside Emer McCourt, with support from Janie Booth, Kate Lock, Des McAleer, and Dan Mullane.

Phil Sheerin is a multi-award winning writer/director from Dublin whose films have screened at many international festivals. Before coming to England to study at NFTS he worked in The Factory alongside Kerstin & Jim Sheridan and John Carney and others.
