94 NFTS GRAD CREDITS ON 35 FILMS AT THE BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL

Imitation Game, Mr Turner, Fury and more!

NFTS graduates have 94 credits on 35 films, including 24 major feature films at the festival. These include the LFF Opening Gala film The Imitation Game (starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Kiera Knightly), the Closing Gala film Fury (directed by and starring Brad Pitt) as wel as Mr Turner, A Little Chaos, The Duke of Burgundy, The Keeping Room, The Falling, X+Y and Second Coming.

NFTS student animated film The Bigger Picture directed by Daisy Jacobs, co-written by Jennifer Majka and produced by Chris Hees has been selected in the short film programme of the 84th BFI London Film Festival

The animated film using innovative life-sized paintings has already screened at nearly 50 film festivals and won 11 awards including prizes at Cannes, Edinburgh and Annecy, which means it now qualfies for consideration in the 2015 Academy Awards.
 
Recent Directing Fiction graduate Yann Demange has his film – ’71 - in competition in the LFF First Feature programme. NFTS tutor Paul Davis is the supervising sound designer on this film.
 
NFTS graduate Tom Green, has directed Monsters: Dark Continent in the Thrill section of the LFF. NFTS graduate Allan Niblo produced this and the first film Monsters. Other graduates involved in this sequel are Kristian Milsted (Production Designer) andAdele Fletcher (ADR Editor).
