NFTS Production Design MA graduates are always in demand and frequently get talent spotted by major film studios, such as Pinewood, Shepperton, Leavesden and Elstree, to work on stellar movies and TV series. Here is a snap shot of just some of the forthcoming films and TV series that our recent grads have been working on.

William Houghton Connell, Olivia Muggleton and Stephen Swain are working on the forthcoming Star Wars Episode VII - the planned seventh live-action theatrical installment in the Star Wars film franchise, which is being directed by J.J. Abrams and is being filmed at Pinewood Studios.
Isona Rigau Heres worked at Pinewood as art department assistant with the esteemed Production Designer Dante Ferretti on the new live-action film Cinderella (2015), directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter. She is also working on Everest– a forthcoming adventure drama staring Keira Knightly, Jake Gyllenhaal and Josh Brolin.
Agis Pirlis is art department assistant at Pinewood Studios on Tulip Fever – the upcoming film version of Deborah Moggach’s novel adapted by Sir Tom Stoppard, which is being directed by Justin Chadwick (Mandela: Long Road To Freedom) and stars Dame Judi Dench, Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), Zach Galifianakis and the model Cara Delevigne.
Max Berman, Sophie Neil, Tom Goodwin and Isobel Dunhill are all working on the Warner Bros. fantasy film Pan directed by Joe Wright, which stars Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara and Amanda Seyfried. This Peter Pan origin story is due for release in July 2015.
Matthew Sharp is Art Department Assistant on the film Frankenstein– a Max Landis adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe, which is scheduled for release in 2015.
Tom Conroy (Production Designer) and Elo Soode, Art Department Assistant are working on Legend, about the notorious underworld kingpins the Kray twins, in Brian Helgeland's (L.A Confidential) forthcoming biopic. This crime thriller film stars Tom Hardy, Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston, Chazz Palminteri and Tara Fitzgerald.
James Spencer is a draughtsman on Tarzan, which is being directed by another NFTS graduate David Yates and stars Samuel L Jackson, Christoph Waltz and Margot Robbie (Fast and Furious, About Time).
Antonia Lowe has worked on the multi-BAFTA award winning British TV series Broadchurch and Gracepoint - an upcoming 10-episode American TV remake of Broadchurch.
This popular course, led by Production Designer Caroline Amies (In The Name Of The Father, Ladies in Lavender, Miss Julie directed by Liv Ullmann starring Colin Farrell and Jessica Chastain, due for release next year) attracts high caliber students from a wide variety of visual backgrounds, including theatre, architecture, illustration, fine art, digital design, interior design and 3D design.
Students are encouraged to develop close links with the industry while on the course and are offered work experience at film and TV studios. Unlike other schools, all production costs are met by the School. NFTS students are engaged in more productions as part of the curriculum than any of our competitors.
