'IT Crowd' TV Producer Trains NFTS Broadcast Production Students

Richard Boden, award-winning Producer/Director of hit TV comedy shows Allo Allo, Blackadder Goes Forth and The IT Crowd has just spent three days with NFTS Broadcast Production diploma students culminating in shooting some scenes at Sky Studios.

Camera Operators, Vision Mixers and Sound Operators worked alongside Sky staff to recreate six minutes of comedy using Sky’s state-of-the-art studio facilities.

Applications are still being accepted for the next course beginning in January 2016.

Students on this diploma course are trained in key multi-camera studio and single camera skills with specialist training in key aspects of camerawork, vision mixing and sound recording. In addition to spending six week work placement at Sky Studios , students will also receive additional experience at BBC Studios and Post Production at Elstree.
