NFTS 2014 animation film The Bigger Picture, written/directed by Daisy Jacobs, produced by Chris Hees and co-written by Jennifer Majka has won the Cristal prize for a graduation film at the prestigious ANNECY film festival – Europe’s biggest animation film festival.
The film faced tough competition from film schools across Europe and is huge achievement. It comes hot on the heels of The Bigger Picturewinning Joint Third Prize in the Cinéfondation Short Film Section of the Cannes Film Festival.
Speaking from the festival, Daisy said the team had celebrated their success with other NFTS graduates and added:
“I saw some really great animation films and had a fantastic time during Annecy. I'm delighted to have won the Cristal for our Graduation Film. Well done to all the team.”
